(St Lucia) -Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre continues to make needed investments in law enforcement and police administration.  In under two years since assuming office, Prime Minister Pierre has secured agreements to commence construction work on the Northern Divisional Police Head Quarters and rehabilitation work on the Vieux-Fort Police State.

Both facilities were left to deteriorate for more than four years.  The approximate value of the two construction projects exceeds XCD 38 million.

And, within the first 12 months as Prime Minister and National Security Minister, Hon. Philip J. Pierre allocated millions in resources to further strengthen the Police Force. This investment facilitated advanced training exercises for various units within the Police Force to bolster operational and tactical capacity.
