The 7th Meeting of the 10th Parliament will take place on Monday 28, June at 10:00 AM.
Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, Senator Oscar George reported that Cabinet has approved a total of 5 Bills for consideration in Parliament.
The Bills are:
1. The Fiscal Responsibility Bill which intends to define a rules based fiscal responsibility framework which will guide and anchor Government’s Fiscal Policy.
2. A bill for an act to amend the Automatic Exchange of Financial Accounting Information Act #6 of 2019
3. A bill for an act to amend the Companies Act.
4. A Bill for an act to repeal the International Business Companies Act Chapter 7801.
5. The Dominica Hospital Authority Bill
The senator said that item #3 and #4 is being tabled as part of Government’s international commitment to open and transparent exchange of tax information.
The Parliament will be broadcast live on the usual media platforms.
