National Team Manager Outlines Covid-19 protocols as Dominica prepares for World Cup Qualifiers

Manager of the Men’s National Football team Heinrich Anselm says all measures are in place to ensure the safety of the Men’s National team as they travel to the Dominican Republic next week for its World Cup Qualifying matches.

The Men’s National Team is set to become the first team to represent Dominica in an international Tournament since the Covid-19 Outbreak.

Heinrich Anselm spoke with DFA Media Thursday.

At Age 46, the National defender commonly known as “Boots”, says it is an honour to represent the country.

The National Team officially entered camp Friday 12th March, and will undergo a week of final preparations before departing of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Dominica has been placed in Group D of the Concacaf Qualifiers alongside Panama, The Dominican Republic, Barbados, and Anguilla.

Dominica will kick of its Qualifying campaign on the 24th of March against the Dominican Republic, and then will play Panama on March 28th.

Both games will be played in the Dominican Republic.

The Team will leave island on the 22nd of March.
