World Hypertension Day takes place every year on the May 17th, 2022 and unites the world in remembering the importance of hypertension checks and a healthy lifestyle. The A-MEDIC Clinic joins the World Hypertension Day campaign with the theme “Measure your blood pressure, control it, live longer”.

The Clinic reminds Dominicans of the old proverb, prevention is better than cure; and urges all to take steps to maintaining a healthy diet, consume less salt or sodium-based products, monitor your blood pressure, maintain an ideal weight, limit alcohol and exercise frequently.
