The Caribbean Development Bank will launch the second project of the CARIFORUM-European Union (EU) Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) Standby Facility for Capacity Building entitled the Strengthening of Regional Quality Infrastructure Project in Barbados, Dominica and St Kitts and Nevis on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (AST) online.
The new project is being implemented by the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality – CROSQ on behalf the Barbados National Standards Institution, Dominica Bureau of Standards and the St Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards. The project will provide support to these bodies to increase their capabilities, provide more specialized equipment and enhance the testing services available to export oriented businesses with focus on construction, transportation and agro-processing sectors.
