Parliamentary representative for the Kalinago Territory Hon. Cozier Frederick has confirmed that the long talked about financing facility for his constituency will soon become a reality.

He said, “Before this financial year ends, the Government will be rolling out another program that will positively affect our people. A concept that has been there for a number of years, a concept for access for financing for the Kalinago people”.

Frederick said that it is common knowledge that the land in the Territory cannot be used as collateral and so in order for all to develop equally, special financing opportunities must be created for the Kalinago people.
