Dominican Students In China Doing What It Takes To Survive

Dominican students studying in China continue to do all that they can to survive and protect themselves against the deadly Coronavirus.

Darron Lloyd said, “Today my good friend Kede and I volunteered ourselves to acquire food essentials for the few students (including ourselves) currently in Wuhan, China. With the increase of infected corona virus cases, the Chinese government continues to work feverishly and has made remarkable progress in containing the situation”.

He credits the Dominican embassy in Beijing, who provided the necessary funds and means of transportation to acquire the products.

Darron continued, “By the grace of God, tomorrow we shall continue our quest in acquiring more essentials for our fellow compatriots, including sanitary supplies, protective equipment and as much more food as possible. Our embassy has given us the assurance that it will continue to stand with us, and will continue to champion our concerns in hopes to alleviate our grievances. Now more than ever I urge every person reading this to join hands, and in whatever way possible, even if it is as little as a prayer, send your support towards the folks here in Wuhan. I am confident that we are bigger than this situation, and with your optimism and prayers we will undoubtedly remain safe throughout this trying time”.

We continue to pray for our students in China for their continued well being.
