The Dominica Tri-State Area Connection (DOTSAC) in collaboration with the city of Bridgeport has raised the flag of the Commonwealth of Dominica in recognition of the 41st anniversary of the island state. The flag was first raised in 2008  with an official ceremony and a Cultural celebration. The flag will be flown during the entire Independence season in Dominica.
