The Culventure Club of the Dominica State College will host its Culventure month in October.
The month will feature a range of activities all in an effort to ‘ engage the youth in exploring and promoting the rich culture of Dominica through adventure and cultural activities.
The month of activities kicked off with a lecture by Dr. Lennox Honychurch entitled, ‘Know Your Roots, Know Your Culture’. Other plans include a Patois Spelling Competition, Patois Reading Competition, National Dish, and National Wear Competition and a debate between the Debate Club and the Culventure Club.
The month of activities is in celebration of the Club’s first anniversary.
