The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) held an event on Wednesday to discuss the Economic Perspective on Migration in Dominica. Presentations were made by economist Marie followed by a panel discussion with members of the public and DAIC.

IOM Communications Officer, Maxine Alleyne-Esprit said that according to the World Migration Report of
says the Caribbean has some of the highest migration rates in the world, with Dominica coming in as number 2, within the top twenty country with persons migrating per proportion.
