Rosalie Bay, Dominica — November 18, 2025– ROSALIE BAY DISTILLERY and OCEANS FORWARD Announced as a Silver Winner for the 5th Annual Anthem Awards.
Rosalie Bay Distillery (RBD) is honored to have been selected as a Silver Winner for the Anthem Awards in the category of Sustainability, Environment & Climate – Product, Innovation, or Service Categories (Non-Profit). Anthem Awardees are selected by a panel of social impact experts in the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
Rosalie Bay Distillery is the world’s only conservation distillery, established to contribute 100% of its earnings to support critical, local marine conservation efforts. RBD produces award-winning ultra-premium craft rums, traceable from farm to glass, at their facility in Rosalie, Dominica. The distillery is the brain-child of a team at Oceans Forward, a marine conservation organization that works “to create a world where the ocean and people are thriving together, with long-lasting, community-centered conservation solutions that push traditional boundaries to make the impossible a reality.” Harold Guiste, President of Dominica Sea Turtle Conservation Organization, (DomSETco) a partner of RBD, explains, “By selling a premium craft spirit, we can ensure the long-term stability of conservation initiatives, uninterrupted by fluctuations in tourism revenue or grant availability.” RBD directs all its earnings to support local conservation work. This innovative concept also provides much-needed economic opportunities through jobs in sugar cane farming, supply chain, and distillery operations, opportunities that in turn aid conservation efforts by reducing human pressures on marine resources.
The marketing message of Rosalie Bay Distillery is “Pour to Protect” and links its sales of a popular spirit, with an international market and steady demand, to having a direct impact on protecting ocean resources and the communities in Dominica who depend on them for their health and well-being. Linking craft rum to ocean conservation will ensure the financial sustainability of efforts to protect marine resources. Oceans Forward Board Member MarcellaHarris agrees: “Every bottle of rum

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
