It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved Steve Francis “Bush” LaRonde also known as Graphics of Goodwill who departed this life on 13th March 2026.
He is survived by his Father Mr. Cecil LaRonde
He leaves to mourn
His 6 children whom he loved dearly,
Stephany, Imran, Stacey, Joshua, Jacob and Zeffra LaRonde
His only grand-son, Neuer whom he cherished and his ex-wife Aretha
He will be missed by
His Siblings: Tamara, Yvonne, Yolanda, Kurt, Sadia, Swan, Ronald, David, Kacey, Kevin, Kaley, Nikita, Kimanni, Emmanuel, Benny, Russell & Philicia.
His Aunts: Annette, Corine, Joan, Lucila and Elisabeth
His Uncles: Preston, Billy Chester and David
Uncle in-law: Valentine Poponne
Steve had many cousins to include Hon. Melissa Poponne-Skerrit and many nieces and nephews to numerous to mention but very important in his life.
Steve had many many friends near and far who will miss him dearly.
His was the owner and operator of Zeffy’s Bush bar and will be missed by his staff and patrons.
Steve “Bush” LaRonde was a pioneer in the music industry locally. He helped shape the musical landscape with is absolute love for good music. He was the owner of Graphics in the Mix and actively involved in the World Creole music festival in its early stages and his Sunday night program on Q95 as a DJ. He introduced Reggea Road Block to the local community.
The Family would like to thank the following persons who went above and beyond during his time of illness. Ariane, Pancho and Kim who assisted greatly in getting him to Guadeloupe along with Shyanne who stepped in to care for his daughter Zeffra. His cousin Eraldo Lander and Ori who gave their personal time to be with him while he was in the hospital in Guadeloupe. His cousins Gaelle Lander and Oswald Bertrand who both have medical backgrounds and assisted with his care. DJ Smooth his long time friend who visited him and Delia who took their son Jacob and daughter Zeffra to Guadelope to see their father for what is now the last time.
The family would also like to thank all those persons who contributed financially to his medical care and especially DJ O’Brian.
Steve touched so many lives that it would be difficult to mention all of you but you were all an important part of his life.
The body of the late Steve “Bush” LaRonde can be viewed at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Pottersville, Goodwill on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The funeral mass will take place at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment at the Roseau Roman Catholic Cemetery.
