We announce the death of Muriel Hamilton Francis also known as Muriel Watty. She died on Friday March 29, 2024, in the state of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marie Louisiana Frederick- Ettiene and Albert William Hamilton; siblings: Davidson, Albert, Avondale and Bernice Hamilton, her daughters Roselie and Bernadette Watty. 

She leaves to mourn:

Daughters: Joan Greene, Dr. Wynant Watty-Benjamin and Mable Brumant.

Sons: Alexis, Nathaniel, Edward, Wilflix, and Dr. Hubert Watty.

Brother: Berlyne Hamilton.

Many grand and great-grand children, as well as nieces and nephews in Dominica, Canada, USA, Netherlands, France and England.

Final resting place will be in her birthplace – Vieille Case, Dominica – in June, 2024.

Announcement will be made regarding her home going ceremony at a later date.
