It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Titre, originally from Grand Bay, Dominica, and a long-time resident of St. Thomas, USVI. John was born on January 17, 1960, and passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 64.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Michelle Titre, and his cherished daughters, Jefflyn and Justine. He is mourned by his sister, Bertha Cuffy, and brothers, Julius Titre, Vernant Titre, Joseph Titre, and Bernard Titre.
John’s memory lives on in his nieces Theodora, Theoniqua, Tiniqua, Lana, Liana, Adelle, Bernadette, Verna, Candia, Crystel, Bernelle, and Janae; and nephews Justine, Juwan, Joshua, Lincoln, and Leron. He will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law Andrew Cuffy and Leno Abraham, and sisters-in-law Susan, Antoinette, and Rosie.
John also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren: Jaleequie, Leeari, and Zyra, along with many other relatives and close friends, including the Abraham family in St. Thomas, and the Henderson family in Grand Bay, Elmshall, and Portsmouth, as well as the Titre family in Bellevue Chopin, Petite Savanne, and Good Hope.
The funeral service will take place at the Hurley Funeral Home in St. Thomas on Saturday, November 23rd at 9am.
Interment will be followed at the East End cemetery.
