Death Announcement of Ignace Avandale Detouche, age 71 formerly of Dubique, Grand Bay, who resided at Scotts Head

We announce the death of IGNACE AVANDALE DETOUCHE, age 71 formerly of Dubique, Grand Bay, who resided at Scotts Head.  He died on Monday 30th December 2024, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

He leaves to mourn:

Wife:   Adelina Detouche

Children: Deborah, Edwin, Ferney, Garvin and Deon Detouche

Grandchildren: Stephie, Stephan, Stephen and Stephanie Laville;

Bastien and Faye Weekes;Malcolm, Isaiah, Gerard, Anton and Cristiano Detouche

Children In-Law: Francis Laville, Ronald Weekes and Enzinga Darroux-Detouche

Siblings: Sylvester Fontaine (aka Baba); Marie Luke; June Reece & Evelina Blanc

Brothers-in-Law: Sylvester Francis, Alexander Luke and Ruthven Reece

Aunt: Clarina Francis (aka Aunty Clay)

Nieces & Nephews: Stellia, Stephen, and Steeven Fontaine; Darren and Akhil

Luke; Keon and Kareem Reece; Dylan Laudat

Cousins including: Virginia Baron, Fevrier Valmond, Augustus Claytus Etienne,

Viewing of the body will take place at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. at the Soufriere Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday 5th February 2025.  Interment will take place at the Soufriere Roman Catholic Cemetery.
