We announce the death of Alice Piper-Julien better known as “Ma Merrill” and “Mammy” of Canefield, she was 99 years old.
She leaves behind two daughters: Winifred Riviere in Dominica and Sonia Julien-Joshua in NY.
Sisters: Helen Shillingford and MaryJane Graham.
Grandchildren: Myrtle Telemacque-Hall, and Brenda Augustine in USA; Janice Rock and Ronald Rock in England; Tessa Jones, Vida John, Gregory Augustine and Jerry Abraham in Dominica.
Great Grandchildren: Odell, Junior and Shanice in the USA; Al, Deri, Brendon, Quillan, Denzel, Sonika, Kitania, Zaida and Emerline.
Great Great grandchildren: D’Mari, Ackaylla, Jernika, and Devon jr.
Granddaughters in-law: Sharon Augustine and Diane Abraham
Grandsons in-law: Steve Jones and Osmund Hall
Numerous nieces and nephews,the entire Piper and Graham families in Montserrat, England, USA and Dominica.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at 2:30pm at the Lyndhurst Chapel in Canefield. Viewing of the body begins at 2:00 pm. Interment will be followed at the Roseau Public Cemetery. The funeral will be streaming live on EmoNews.
