Death Announcement of 87 year old Lucina Lucie Xavier-Casimir better known as Ma Fweya of Hagley Grand Bay

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of 87 years old Lucina Lucie Xavier-Casimir better known as Ma Fweya of Hagley Grand Bay. She died on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

She left to mourn seven (7) children:

4 Sons to include:

  • Emmanuel and Romain in Guadeloupe
  • David Xavier and Bernard Casimir in Dominica

3 Daughters:

  • Catherine, Anthea and Sylvian Casimir

32 Grand Children including:

  • Imanson and Keyma in St. Thomas
  • Joel, Ricky and Joanne in France
  • Lydia, Natalie, Ramona, Karen, Lauryn, Kenny, Kennel, Jonathan, and Adonijah in Guadeloupe.
  • Mashema and Bernisha in St. Kitts
  • Malika in Monserrat
  • Rochelle, Ery, Jessica, Kareem, Cameron, Kamica, Nadelle, Melvin, Lyana, Malisia, Darren, Dilian, Celia, Shesha and Davin in Dominica.

36 Great Grand Children including:

Lyall, Kurmisha, Kurnessa, Najayel, Keymisha, Akima, Imisha, Kijanna, Itainya, Marzani, Dylan, Amariah and Isabelle others are too numerous to mention.

2 Brothers:

  • James and Michel Xavier

1 Sister:

  • Clemensia Xavier

24 Nieces including:

  • Tokotoe, Magdalene, Catherine, Erica, Agnis, Cynthia and Leonie others are too numerous to mention.

24 Nephews including:

  • Claudius, Odoh, Tomer and Joseph others are too numerous to mention.

Close relative:

  • Kizia, Barber and Norma

Close friend:

  • Ralford & Ma Wyam

Daughter in law:   Virginia

Former Grand Bay Isidore members, Nurses, doctors and ambulance service of the Grand Bay health team.

Hon. Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, Hon. Edward Registe and Mrs. Justina Riviere.

The Xavier, Laurent and Casimir family. Other friends & neighbors of Hagley and the entire community of Grand Bay.

The funeral will take place on Thursday 6, May 2021 at the Grand Bay Catholic Sacred Space at 3:00pm, viewing is from 2:30pm.
