We announce the death of Myrtle Josephine Younis McIntyre
Age 92
She died on the 23rd of January at Goodwill
She leaves to mourn:
Children: Lester, Christine, Debbie, Gillie, and Roger.
Daughters in law-Lourice and Soraya McIntyre
Son in law-Roy Rolle
Adopted daughter-June Prince
Brother: Vincent Younis and family
Grandchildren: Leslyn, Michele, Maria and spouse Devin, Richard, Jason, Darron, Kayla and spouse Anthony, Giselle, Amaya, Kelsey, Jilana, Karl, Kyle, Yannick and Bria
Great-Grandchildren: Amia, Aria, Amelia and Tristan
Brothers and Sisters in Law and their families: Yolanda Bertrand, Cynthia Hill, Conrad McIntyre, Lorna and Neville Phillips, Malcolm and Tingale McIntyre, Franklyn and Cecilia McIntyre
Nieces and Nephews: too numerous to mention, including the children of the late Joe Younis, Raymound Younis and John McIntyre and other relatives including the Karams and their families.
God Children: Christian Karam, Gloria Tavernier, Cheryl Riviere, Jennifer Shillingford, and Colleen Auguste
Longtime special Caregiver Susan Douglas and her daughter Shamika Charles.
Caregiver: Debra Francis.
She leaves behind many longtime and close friends, including Monsignor Eustace Thomas, her nephew and longtime physician the Honorable Dr. Irving McIntyre and her cousin Fr. Nigel Karam.
She is also remembered by the good neighbours of Munro Street.
The funeral will take place at the Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral on Monday, 8th February, 2021 at 3pm followed by internment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
