It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Roselind DeJean nee Williams, better known as Mendoux or Ma Peterson, age 87 of La Plaine who resided on Boyd’s Avenue and 32 Solomon Lane.
She died on May 19, 2021 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
She is survived by:
Three Children: Augustus “Magazine” Deluge in Guadeloupe, Lucia Deluge Elizee and Noman DeJean in Dominica.
Step daughter: Pricilla DeJean
Adopted Daughter: Ginetta Mathew
Sisters: Agatha Lawrence, Ruthine Brumant in Dominica and Olivia Joseph in the UK.
Brothers: Augustin Williams in Dominica and Marsley Williams in the USA.
Son-in-law: Kelvin Elizee
Daughters-in-law: Audrie Deluge and Candia DeJean
Sisters-in-law: Marie Williams and Cynthia Williams
Brother-in-law: Kenneth Brumant
Grand Children: Fernandez and Travis Deluge; Mikhail & Kelisha Elizee; Tyana, Sherwana, Nolan and Cajani DeJean

The body of the Late Roselind DeJean will be viewed on Friday 18th June at 2:30 pm at the Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral Chapel.
The Funeral Service will take place at 3pm, followed by Interment at the Roseau Roman Catholic Cemetery.
