We announce the death of Iris Hector Redman, age 87 of Laplaine who resided in Newtown and Cork Street. She was a member of the North Eastern Funeral Association. She died on Wednesday 8th June at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
She was the mother of two sons; Randley Severin, Austin Samuel and four daughters, Jessinta Durand, Beverly Whyke Robin, Joanne and Josianne Leogal.
She will also be be remembered by two brothers: Vivian and Rusfield Carbon. One sister; Veronica Carbon.
17 grand children including; Jeanpierre, Leon, Tafari, Ronnie, Sebastien, Tatiana, Keliesha, Cassidy, Caseem, Austin and Justin. 8 nieces including; Glenda and Hyacinth Carbon. 11 nephews including; Bond Beaupierre, Deacon Curtis Hector, Ronald Hill and Curtis Alfred. 11 great grand children including; Milani in Miami, Kéalan, Rickycio and Germain in France.
Care-takers; Jackie Burke and Josianne Leogal in Cork Street. Other relatives including The Hector, Colaire and Carbon family.

The body of the late Iris Hector Redman of La Plaine who resided at Newtown and Cork Street can be viewed on Friday 8th July from 1:30pm at the La Plaine Catholic Church. The funeral Mass takes place at 2:00pm at the La Plaine Catholic Church and will be followed by interment at the La Plaine Catholic cemetery.
