It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of 78-year-old Rosemary Joachim nee Henry, affectionately known by many as Mama Rose or Sister Rose, originally from Mahaut, Dominica and more recently resided in Fishers, Indiana and El Paso, Texas.
Rosemary was the daughter of the late Frederick and Augustin Henry of Mahaut, Dominica.
She transitioned from this world and gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, 25th May 2024 at The Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, Texas.
She is survived by:
Her husband: Augustus ”Tus” Joachim
6 Children: Augustina Lana Pompey, Sylvester Findly Joachim, Roselind Ora Juste, Curtis Peter Joachim, Junella Joachim Manglona, and Esther Joachim Little
4 Sons in Law: Levern Pompey, Mario Juste, Prisco Manglona, and Mark Little
1 Daughter in Law: Ferrilia Joachim
13 Grandchildren: Nicole, Keturah, Michael, Cameron, Marian, Ronel, Amelia, Isaiah, Alexia, Priscilla, Dynacee, Jude and Eric
7 Great Grandchildren: Jasmine, Aniyah, Gabrielle, Mariyah, Sunny, Riley, Alexander and Roderick III
3 Siblings: Mark and Ozzie Henry of Warner, Veronica “Sisco” Victor of Mahaut, Dominica.
1 Brother in Law: Benoit “Oboy” Victor
2 Sisters in Law: Mena and Cecelia Henry
Nieces and nephews too numerous to mention including: Jessica Carrasquillo, Jefferson Henry, Francia Victor, Delroy Victor, Janet Lawrence, Fanilia Caines, Hetty Lawrence, Florence Lawrence, Keith Granville, Diana Laville, Julia JnoBaptiste, Kathleen Henry and Donel Henry
Additional relatives include the Lukes, Maximaes and Henrys from the communities of Mahaut, Campbell, and Warner in Dominica.
Fellow worshipers at Mahaut Gospel Tabernacle in Dominica, Goodlife Deliverance Ministries in Brooklyn, NY, Rock Church and Azalea Garden Church in Virginia Beach, VA, Heartland Church in Fishers, IN and Word of Life Ministries in El Paso, TX, where Rosemary was a cherished and respected member, who constantly shared the word with all individuals regardless of the situation or environment.
The funeral of the Late Rosemary Joachim will be held on 22nd June 2024 at Joachim’s property at Roanoke, Virginia, USA, viewing at 9:30am, celebration of life at 10:00am followed by interment.
