It is with great sadness that we announce the death of 76 year old Ella Antonia Laurent of Laudat, better known as Ms Lou. She died on Thursday October 28, 2021.
SHE LIVES TO MOURN:
5 Children: School Teacher Roslyn Fountain and Benjamin Bruney in Dominica, Business Man Raymond Rolle in Trinidad, Julien Armantrading in Guadeloupe, and Alick Armantrading in England.
7 Grandchildren: Earlyn Fontaine in Dominica, Felisha James , Fericia and Renese Rolle in Trinidad, Jermon, Naomi and Jonathan Armantrading in Guadeloupe.
2 Great Grandchildren: King and Royalty in Trinidad.
5 Sisters: Retired Nursing Assistant Leonie Laurent and Lerina Laurent in Dominica, Hermia Laurent, Registered Nurse (R.N) Lindia Joseph and Retired R.N Lily Charles in the USA.
1 Son in Law: Corporal Earl Fontaine of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force
2 Daughters in Law: Simmone Armantrading in Guadeloupe and Cindy Rolle in Trinidad.
1 Aunt: Marietta Laurent
Numerous Nieces and Nephews including: Registered Nurse (R.N) Shadia Laurent Monroe, Celius Green, Attorney at Law Portia Collazo, Hannah Charles, Kish Charles, Dwayne Joseph, Magnolia Holmes, Nerissa Gentle, R.N Gaile Registe and Dr. Christine Stauble in the USA and Chrisia Laurent, Sheridan Laurent, R.N. Anna-Lisa Bully and Michael Laurent in Dominica.

Best Friends: Lynette, Beverly and Lorna.
Numerous cousins in Atkinson including the Laurent and Laville family, the Shillingford family in Laudat and Contessa Emanuel and family from the USA.
The entire village of Laudat and Bath Estate.
The body of the late Ella Antonia Laurent better known as Ms. Lou will be transported from the Gentle Rest Funeral Home for viewing from 9:00a.m to 9:40a.m. on Saturday, 20th November, 2021 at the Grace and Truth Fellowship Church.
The funeral service begins at 10:00a.m. followed by interment at Roseau Public Cemetery.
