DOMINICA SOCIAL SECURITY VACANCY NOTICE: RESEARCH & INVESTMENT OFFICER

The Dominica Social Security invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Research & Investment Officer.

The purpose of this job is to research, gather and analyse investment opportunities, capital and money market trends and developments to advise the Director and Investment Committee—through the Administrator, Finance & Investment—of opportunities to maximize the yield on the Fund.

Applicants must have

i. Master’s Degree (MSc.) in Finance and Accounting

ii. Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in research and investments

iii. Strong analytical and time management skills

iv. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

v. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

vi. Sound knowledge of electronic data processing

vi. Excellent presentation skills
