The family wishes to announce the death of Gwendolyn Kezia Richards who departed this life on April 30th 2022 at the age of 84 years at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.She was a member of the North Eastern Funeral Association.
She was the mother of Samuel Watty (deceased) Charles Watty, Edward Benjamin, Ken Brown in Antigua, Corporal Garvin James of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force and her daughter Ariane Williams who currently resides in Houston Texas.
She left to mourn Sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Nine sisters and Five brothers. Reta Robin, Veron Edwards, Gloria Shillingford, Mazean Dodds, Rhonis Dodds, Jennifer Fenton, Patricia Benjamin, Juditha and Nama Richards. Brothers Reverend Evans Dodds, Cyrus Dodds, Desmond Dodds, Smithson, Mishak and Stewart Richards.
Forty-five nephews and nieces
Three daughters in-law:
Lunar Watty, Vincia Benjamin and Tamika Benjamin
Five brothers in law and Two sisters in law
Many close friends including: Ann Berkitt and family, Nath Browne and family, Martha Obed, Miss Ruth, Nelly, Joy, Agatha, Betty, Bennie, Karen, Tilda, Miss Clemin, Judith,Natasha Gardier, The Methodist Women’s League, The Methodist Communities of Wesley and Marigot,Christian Ministries congregation in Antigua, The Dodds, Lawrence and Richards family of Wesley, The Honorable Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, Hon. Fidel Grant, Cornelius Bazil, caretakers, many other relatives friends too numerous to mention.
The Funeral service of the Late Gwendolyn Kezia Richards will be held on Saturday 14th May , 2022 at the Wesley Methodist Church at 3:00 pm viewing starts at 2:30pm
Burial will follow at the Wesley Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery.
