We announce the death of 83-year-old Monica Xavier Toussaint better known as Ma Monica of Cochrane. She died on March 31st 2022 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
She is survived by:
Children: Maylise Esprit, Francis “Bengos” Esprit, Augustus “Dowdie” Francis, Johnson Francis, Maurella Xavier, Gloria Watson Jean-Pierre and Caryl Bethel
Sisters: Samsular Joseph and Eslie Xavier Francis.
Brothers: Anthony David, Percel Phillip, Vivian Joseph and Neville Xavier.
Uncle: Phillip Mann
Grand-Children: Gale, Glenn, Anthony & Jkeem Francis, Michael, Trayce and Britney Bunche, Cashila Josephs, Shanner Esprit-Hamilton, Brenda Emanuel, Brundel Esprit, Murielle Paul, George Lancien and Yannick Cabrera.
Great Grand-Children: Malik, Liam, Ashton, Gianni, Kiarriah, Jadante, Valencia, Azari, Caylan, Aadisah, Mylian, Camille, Nathan, Kewen, Amalia and Emmanuelle.

The body of the late Monica Xavier Toussaint will be transported from Gentle Rest Funeral Home for viewing at 9.30am on Tuesday April 26th 2022 at the St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Pottersville. The funeral service begins at 10am followed by interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
The funeral service will be streamed live.
