Bright Beginning To Participate In Read A Rama; Features Dominican Author

The Bright Beginning Centre has been following a reading program called Read A Rama. On Thursday, students will be able to see a fellow Dominican featured in their program.

Read A Rama is a Seattle based literacy program for children aged 4 to 11 years. The program features different authors who read their stories to children and get them engaged in fun educational activities.

According to Shereen Laronde, teacher at Bright Beginning, the school is truly proud that a Dominican author will be featured. In light of Caribbean American Heritage Month, Dominican author, Jamie Alleyne will read her debut picture book, Why are Onions So Sad.
