Nothing else that Dominica could have done to prevent EU blacklisting, says ECS ambassador to EU

BRUSSELS, Belgium — The ambassador of the Eastern Caribbean States (ECS) Mission to the European Union, Sharlene Shillingford-McKlmon, issued a statement on Friday in relation to the EU’s recently revised list of non-cooperative jurisdictions that included Dominica.

Shillingford-McKlmon explained that the outstanding requirement for the small Caribbean island to be removed from this list does not depend on Dominica, but rather that it is pending an internal process of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
