The ‘Recycle Build’ organization has embarked on a campaign to help raise awareness of ‘plastic’ pollution across Dominica. The campaign is ongoing through their plastic bottle cap collection competitions among schools.
Yesterday grade K of St. John’s Primary (the youngest grade) won the school competition with over 13.9kg collected (6950 caps). A total of 59.7kg (29,850 caps) was collected by the rest of the school in just the last 30 days!
Congratulations are in order for the pupils of grade K and to all those who participated in cleaning up Portsmouth. Kudos to the organization.
