Young Dominican Man Killed in the US

On the Evening of March 26th, 2022 in Queens, New York, 26 year old Dominican Peter Panthier Jr. was shot twice by an unknown assailant.

Peter was a musician and was studying Economics in the U.S. for a year and a half. He lived in Brooklyn, New York with his family. He had no criminal record or gang/criminal affiliations. Family and neighbors describe the young man as quiet, bright and kind.

Footage released from the New York Police Department shows two young men, one of them , Peter Panthier Jr. and the other, the assailant walking together in the Far Rockaway Neighborhood in Queens, New York. Shortly after, the unknown assailant pulled out a gun and shot Mr. Panthier twice to his head, quickly fleeing the scene soon after.

Peter was brought to the St. John’s Episocal Hospital later that night, where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD is currently searching for the suspect who committed this heinous killing.
