Sherkhia Andrew of the Wills Strathmore Stevens Primary School is the new Dominica Carnival Princess. Miss Sherkhai Andrew received awards for Best Talent, Best in Costume, and the People’s Choice which was conducted on the popular social network: Facebook.
The other runner ups are Lizanne Cuffy of the convent Preparatory School 1st, G’nellie Williams of the St. John Catholic Primary School the 2nd, and the third runner up position went to Shervez Seaman of the Paixbouche Primary School.
The other participating schools were T’kyah Bazil Wesley Primary school, Rayne Augiste of the St.Martin’s Primary School, Semia Farell of the GrandFonde Primary School, and Faydra Nicholas of the Soufriere Primary School.
The competition comprised of four rounds namely Speech, Talent, Costume and Party dress.
