A vehicular accident along the Edward Oliver Highway last evening has claimed the life of 24-year-old Kevin Toussaint.

The vehicle was travelling in the southerly direction at the time of the accident. An officer of the Dominica Police Force was also one of the occupants of the vehicle, as was local cricketer Jasceon Alexander who sustained some leg injuries.

The occupants were treated at the Reginald Fitzgerald Hospital in Portsmouth, and the others with more serious injuries were transported and admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital for further treatment and observation.
