We announce the death of 91-year-old Pharel Vernon Joseph affectionately known as “Powder” from Roger.
He died at his daughter’s residence at Roger on 6th July, 2025.
He left behind:
His Children: Annette Tavernier, Jeannette Massiah, Jefferson, Merle, Neomi, Glen, Claudia (Andrina) and Willy (Glenroy) Joseph and Evelyn Joseph-Charles
28 Grandchildren to include: Nina, Vincent and Macaully Tavernier, Charleson, Jarez and Jarel Massiah, Shaquilla, Kaihil, and Kaela Charles, Howard Fagan, Tanika Joseph, Ella Phillip,Yolanda, Kenchi, Kenchine, Nezama, Nisha, Narvin, Nadisha and Grace-Ann Joseph, Sylma Jeremy, Joanne McIntosh, Annicka, Shernika, Cedrack, Samantha and Akim Xavier and Tamalia George.
22 Great Grandchildren to include: Camry and Wilson Tavernier, Renaldo Hurtault, Sergio Joseph-Sweeney, Emerald and Shaheem McIntosh and Liam Charles.

Funeral service takes place on Friday 18th July, 2025 at the Expandable Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Morne Daniel Flat (behind Auto Trade). Viewing begins at 2:00 p.m. and the service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at the Roseau Public Cemetery.
