Emonews has been reliably informed that Attorney-at-Law, Ronald Charles, who is the United Workers Party (UWP) candidate for the Roseau Valley Constituency has been nominated to replace Dr. Thomson Fontaine as an opposition Senator.

Ronald has been a vocal advocate of late, even mounting a one-man protest to call attention for the need for enhanced healthcare. Two separate sources have disclosed that Charles is set to become Dominica’s latest senator and we will keep monitoring that story.
