The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is conducting investigations into the stabbing death of 24 year old Denzel Lenon James, male adult of Newtown/Citronier.

According to reports, James was transported to the Accident & Emergency Department of the Dominica China Friendship Hospital via private vehicle about 11:45 a.m. on Saturday 29th August 2020, having sustained a stab wound to his back. The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. on the same day on Great George Street in Roseau.

James succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a Medical Doctor. The body was escorted to the Lyndhurst Funeral Home awaiting a post mortem examination.

One man is presently in police custody assisting with the ongoing investigation into the death of Denzel James.
