The police are conducting investigations into an incident which occurred this morning in the village of St. Joseph which left Erickson Sampson with a severed hand.

According to reports, an adult female of the same village was taken into custody. Sampson, who was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital, also received multiple lacerations on his body.
