According to Public Relations Officer of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force, Inspector John Carbon, one adult male of Grandbay was fatally shot following an altercation with another young man.

According to him, 22-year-old Donaldson Kaeden Alcendor, of Tete Morne was shot in the chest area on Thursday 26, December, 2020 at about 2:15 AM.

Alcendor was taken to the National Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

His body was transported to the Lyndhurst Funeral Home pending a Post-Mortem.

The CDPF has identified a person of interest in this matter. Investigations are ongoing.
