LONDON, England — On Monday, Trinidad and Tobago became the latest Caribbean Community (CARICOM) regional country poised to take full advantage of the ten-year-old economic partnership agreement (EPA) signed between the Caribbean Forum (CARIFORUM) and the European Union.
Signing the EPA between CARIFORUM states and the United Kingdom on behalf of the government of Trinidad and Tobago, was Orville London, high commissioner for Trinidad and Tobago to the UK.
The high commissioner also signed the related memorandum of understanding between Trinidad and Tobago and the UK concerning the arrangements for the continuation of the effects of the EPA between CARIFORUM states and the European Community and its member states.
