Do It Center, Energy Management Solutions Ltd, Auto Trade Ltd, KFC, Fresh Market, Best Price, and Cash & Carry have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to community development and education through the donation of four (4) OptiPlex 7000 Series Computers with 27th Inch Monitors and one (1) 24,000 BTU Lennox air-conditioning unit to Pierre Charles Secondary School.
The donation, presented on December 12, 2025, aims to directly support the school’s learning environment by enhancing access to technology and improving classroom comfort for students and staff.
Speaking at the handover, Marsha Augustine, Marketing Manager of TIG Food Services, underscored that investing in schools is ultimately an investment in people, productivity, and the future leadership of our nation. She noted that these resources are intended to enhance comfort, expand access to technology, and empower both students and educators to operate at their highest potential within an increasingly competitive and digitally driven environment.
The Principal of Pierre Charles Secondary School conveyed sincere appreciation for the contribution, highlighting that the donation was both timely and impactful, and acknowledging that the Trading International Group of businesses has consistently demonstrated meaningful support for the school over the years.
In closing, the IT Teacher of Pierre Charles Secondary School, Mr. Lestrade, noted that this generous contribution represents a significant step toward realizing the school’s vision of establishing the schools’ Smart IT Lab, a transformative learning space designed to prepare our students for the demands of a rapidly evolving digital world and an initiative poised to benefit current students and future generations alike.
This initiative forms part of the group’s wider corporate social responsibility efforts, which focus on youth development, education, and community upliftment throughout Dominica.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
