This event serves both cultural and economic purposes, aiming to sustain the creole fashion tradition while supporting our local talent and businesses. The ultimate objectives are to promote a rich cultural heritage through its traditional and modern fashion and support local small businesses by providing a platform for local designers and artisans to showcase their work and reach a broader market.
Exhibits on display and for sale will comprise of display of creole garments like madras fabric attire, and modern creole-inspired designs such as brooches, fascinators, clutches, bags, hats, jewelry and footwear. It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
