This issue arose with the introduction of the new Eastern Caribbean (EC) polymer notes, which are not being processed effectively by our current fleet of ATMs.
The Management of NBD wishes to share its intention to replace its fleet of ATMs to a new brand of ATMs that can handle the new EC polymer notes efficiently and resolve the issue of frequent service interruptions. The first of these new ATMs are expected to be in operation by calendar year end.
Meanwhile, NBD encourages our customers to use alternative methods of payments such as merchant Point of Sale (POS) and MoBanking.
