The Dominica Association of teachers under the leadership of Mr. Mervin Alexander held a general meeting on Friday 4th January 2019 at the Goodwill Primary School. The nature of the meeting was one where teachers spoke freely on their grievances and the way forward for the union.

Among the key issues raised and discussed were the changes to the group’s insurance, salary negotiations and appointment of teachers into different positions particularly those working for five years and over. The meeting was very well attended and of a cordial nature.
