Saraya Elwin, Dominican-born lecturer at C.W. Jefferys Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Canada, organized a private meeting along with her Teen Girls Book Club at First Lady Michelle Obama’s on Saturday, May 4th, 2019.
Ms. Elwyn worked energetically to ensure that the young ladies got the opportunity to meet with this iconic woman. The girls were very thankful for the efforts of their leader of this special book club to which they belong.
The private meeting came just a few hours before they went to see Michelle Obama at a sold-out speaking engagement at the Scotiabank Arena entitled “Becoming: An Intimate Evening With Michelle Obama”.
