- The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica (GoCD) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Tablets for the Ministry of Education.
- The Ministry of Public Works and the Digital Economy now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Tablets to facilitate the Ministry of Education Digital Transformation roll-out.
- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 1, 2016, and revised November 2017, July 2018 and November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ms. Jermaine Jean-Pierre – Project Manager, Project Implementation Unit, Caribbean Digital Transformation Project on email address [email protected] with a copy to [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0800 to 1600 hours Mondays to Fridays at the address given below.
- The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by email.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 a.m. on 30th April, 2021. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 11:00 am on 30th April, 2021. Bidders shall have the option of submitting their Bids electronically. The electronic Bidding submission procedures shall be:
Files should be password protected; and Password must be delivered under separate emails no later than thirty (30) minutes after the deadline for submission of Bids.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
