The Paix Bouche Catholic Community will in 2019 celebrate 60 years of the existence of the St. Matthew Catholic Chapel with the theme “Celebrating 60: A dedication of Time, Talent and Treasure”
The official start is Saturday January 19th, 2019, commemorating January 19, 1959 the date as inscribed on the cornerstone. It is expected that the Catholic Community will be engaged in the cleaning of the church and surroundings. The launching of the plan for the year will be done on this Sunday at Mass by the Zone Coordinating Team followed by a “Bring and Share Brunch. The year activities will focus on Praise, Reflection, Thanksgiving, Fellowship, Outreach, and upgrading of the Church Structure and surroundings keeping with the theme Celebrating 60: A dedication of Time, Talent and Treasure”
It is hoped that the Catholic Community and others who passed through the church and receive its sacraments during the year will find time to participate in one or all of the events. The activities will end in the Christmas Season.
