PURE MAS CREATIVE MOVEMENT PRESENTS MISS CULTURAL TEEN PAGEANT

The Pure Mas Creative Movement, also known as the Big Bottom Ladies (Bacchanal Women), a traditional mas band and performing group in Dominica, is excited to announce its upcoming competition for young, talented Dominican teens – the Miss Cultural Teen Pageant. The pageant aims to provide an opportunity for participants to showcase their skills, achieve personal growth, make new friends, and create a lifetime of memories.

Currently, on the island, there are competitions like Ti Matador that target primary students, Miss and Madame Wob that target older women. However, there are no competitions for the teens. The Miss Cultural Teen Pageant fills that gap and is open to young women between the ages of 14 and 18, who are proud of their Dominican heritage and culture. Contestants will compete in various categories, including Patriotic Speech, Talent, Creative Cultural Creation, and Gown. The pageant encourages participants to embrace their culture and showcase their unique talents and skills.

The competition will take place during Dominica’s much-celebrated Independence Season on November 2nd. The Pure Mas Creative Movement is proud to support the Miss Cultural Teen Pageant and its mission to promote cultural awareness and empower young Dominican women. The group thrives under the motto “Embracing Tradition” and aims to offer young talented Dominican Teen Beauties a stage and the opportunity to showcase their talent and patriotism.

Let’s come together to celebrate and empower the young talents of Dominica.
