Protest Action at Indian River

Persons from the community of Portsmouth have taken to the streets in protest action over the alleged billion dollars in CBI funds that are unaccounted for.

Former candidate for the UWP in the Portsmouth Constituency, Pat Corbette spoke to Q95 and said that there are basic things that are needed in Portsmouth like proper medical facilities that the alleged billion dollars could provide for. He said that while the five-star hotels are appreciated, Portsmouth is in need of a five-star hospital so that persons do not have to be rushed to Roseau for medical attention.

Present UWP candidate Jefferson James laments the fact that the Town Council and Customs Building are still uncovered after Maria, hence the question as to ‘where the money gone’ is still relevant.
