The annual Praise Festival organized by the People’s Pentecostal Family Church kicked off last evening and continues until Wednesday.

Host pastor Casmus John said that Praise Festival is a time where churches and individuals come together to celebrate the goodness of God. It is also a time for the strengthening and education of the Body of Christ and to also celebrate our nation’s independence.

The event is being held under the theme, “A fresh Awakening” and the theme verse is taken from Romans 13:11- 14.

The featured speaker is Bishop Thomas Eristhee out of St.Lucia spoke last night on ‘the fight for the blessing’. Drawing from the life of Jacob, he showed that at times we need to get up and fight for what God has promised.

Praise Festival will conclude on Wednesday evening with a grand worship experience.
