On February 27th 2022, a motor vehicle incident at St. Aroment claimed the life of thirty-seven (37) year old security officer, Brian McPherson. Currently, McPherson’s wife who was also injured on the night of the accident is still nursing her injuries at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
Upon thorough investigation by the police, one nineteen year old male of Fond Cole was arrested in connection with the incident.
Today March 8th 2022, the accused was brought before Magistrate Candia Carrette-George where he was charged with the murder of McPherson and later remanded at the Dominica State Prison.
The matter has been adjourned to June 21 2022.
