The Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth Affairs has released the preliminary results of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) results. Nia Belle of the CBSS has obtained 13 grade ones in this year’s examinations.
She led the way for CBSS who had 10 out of the 46 top performers in the 2019 CSEC exams. Top performers are those who gained 6 or more grade ones in subjects attempted. Ms. Belle says, “I feel accomplished and happy that I was able to make myself, friends, teachers, and parents proud. The harder you work for something, the greater you feel about your accomplishments. Thank you to my family, friends, and teachers of the Castle Bruce Secondary for their support during it all.”
Dominica continues to do well in the CSEC exams performing at 8.5% above the regional average of 64% in 30 out of 33 subjects. In 33 out of 33 subjects Dominica received 80-100% pass. French Language, Mathematics and Visual Arts were the three subjects in which Dominica performed below the regional average. Agricultural Science Double Award continues to receive 100% pass. In English A, 8 schools performed above the regional average of 79% while 9 out of 15 schools performed above the regional average of 46% in mathematics.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
