A new permanent logo to be used for subsequentΒ CARIFESTAs was unveiled at the closing of CARIFESTA XIV. The ceremony was held at the Queens Park Savannah in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.
The logo was approved at a meeting of theΒ Council for Human and Social DevelopmentΒ (COHSOD) with theΒ CARICOMΒ Ministers of Culture in June 2019. The logo reflects the vibrancy, rhythm and creativity of the people of the Caribbean, represented by a reveler, a masquerader, a performer, celebrating the Regionβs distinctive, magnificent Caribbean civilization.
